Purchasing Guildelines
Often we see a variety of types of equipment in an office, most of it lacking legitimate beneficial ergonomic features. We will help you develop purchasing guidelines for office equipment with ergonomic criteria at the minimum and standardized choices at the maximum.
We can also take this one step further by overseeing the creation of an on-site “ergonomic lab” so employees can test drive different types of equipment over the course of their career.
This dove-tails well with the Train the Evaluator: Office Ergonomics Screens© course, as your in-house specialist can then use the established guidelines with confidence when making recommendations. Annual updates may be necessary.
Outside consultants for more complicated employee ergonomic issues would use the selected equipment in the purchasing guidelines if appropriate, and only go outside those guidelines when clinically required.
Office Design Consultation
We do not want you to purchase the wrong equipment and waste money retrofitting later! Allow us to consult with your design team and architects for more ergonomically friendly office spaces for new construction or remodel.
